The Eights is a private investment firm based in Sydney, Australia.

Engagement

I was part of the team responsible for creating The Eights' new website. The project was aimed at giving the company's online presence a brand new look, and we successfully achieved this goal through close collaboration between the designer and myself.

As part of my role, I was responsible for the entire web development process. I also helped to find and implement solutions for the project's animations and interactions, using GSAP and its plugin ecosystem, as well as simpler CSS.

The project boasts an elegant and refined design, and each page features visually reinterpreted versions of classic elements such as carousels, cards, and accordions, which made the site content more appealing and captivating. Developing these features has been a great experience for me, both because of the clean design and the simple but effective animations.
