Stella della Versilia is a luxury Hotel on the Apuan riviera in Tuscany, Italy.

Engagement

I was part of the team that created the new website for the Stella della Versilia Hotel. The project scope was about improving the Hotel's online presence with a website that could properly showcase all services available to its guests. Close collaboration between the designer and myself was an important factor in achieving this goal.

As part of my role, I was responsible for the entire web development process. From a technical point of view, the site was built with a custom-coded theme and a multi-language setup. I also handled all the project's animations by using GSAP and its plugin ecosystem, as well as simpler CSS.

One of the most interesting features I developed was the implementation of multiple pages, such as the one about the restaurant, which had to act both as an internal page of the whole site and an independent landing page for the specific service showcased. This required the inclusion of different design patterns, technical elements, and animations into the project, and to find the most appropriate solutions for each of them.
